What i enjoy about abstract art is that it blurs the line between recognizable and unrecognizable. Shape, Colour, Line work, Emotion, Exploration, Planned, Spontaneous, Depth, Shade, Light invites the viewer to find, connect or simply admire the work for their own reasons. As i paint i recreate a part of my own story. As you view you create your own. It is for this reason, this series of abstracts with have vague titles and little to no description.
Improvisational music is the beginning of a new series inspired by my love for music. I have been building towards it for a while and now I have a much clearer understanding of what I'm doing and where I'm going with it.
Each piece will be as unique as a song. It will capture a feel, an emotion, a musical genre or movement. My aim is for them to be lively as possible.
Some will speak of a specific song or even a lyric. Others will be improvisational like a free form jam.
Each one is on Artist quality A4 canvas paper and will fit into a standard A4 frame. $140 each.
